Medinah is the fifth different venue in the United States to host the Presidents Cup and adds the biennial team event to an illustrious list of tournaments hosted at Course #3 that include the 2019 BMW Championship, 2012 Ryder Cup, two PGA Championships, three U.S. Opens, the 1988 U.S. Senior Open, three Western Opens (BMW Championship), and a number of other professional championships.

Originally designed by Tom Bendelow, and redesigned by OCM in 2024, Course #3 is Medinah’s prized jewel championship golf course. The newly transformed course features larger greens, bigger scale bunkers and wider fairways combined with more open vistas and broad areas of long fescue rough. Course #3 has played host to three Western Opens, three U.S Opens, two PGA Championships, the 2012 Ryder Cup, the 2019 BMW Championship, and will play host to the 2026 Presidents Cup.
